Hi, I’m Shane Espy! Welcome to my site!

My photography journey began at the age of 10 when I got my first video camera, the Canon GL1. I spent my early days creating short videos with my friends at the local skatepark. A few years later, I upgraded to my first DSLR, the Canon T3i, and found my true love in capturing moments with still images. Over time, this passion has grown into a career that allows me to freeze meaningful moments in time—whether they're mine, yours, or someone else’s.

I’m currently fortunate enough to work full-time as a product photographer for a company based in beautiful San Luis Obispo. But as much as I love my job, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to create ShotsByShane. With over two years of professional product photography experience and more than three years of wedding photo and video work, my goal is always the same: to create timeless images and videos that people will cherish for a lifetime.
